Bleached Brows to be spring summer hit

While we’ve all cried at the thought of having overly plucked eyebrows and looking like something from out of Avatar the supposed big trend for spring summer will be, drum roll please…. bleached brows.

We like to blame this trend on the over enthusiastic designers of fashion weeks all over the world trying to make a statement with models all being bleached out on the runways from Bottega Venetta, Lanvin and even the new Givenchy advertising campaign.

Is this something us normal civilians can wear or should it be kept on the catwalk? Super famous model Chanel Iman famously said of her bleached brow experience during the Bottega Venetta show: “"When my brows were bleached, I felt like I was on another planet. I just didn't feel like myself. Once they dyed them back, I instantly felt stronger and more confident,"[Daily Beauty Reporter/Allure]

While we’re all still mulling over this crazy concept if you are daring enough to try this trend for God’s sake please get a professional to do it. This is not a time for home experimenting and a disaster cannot be hidden under a hat.

Upsides to this trend? It perfectly compliments ice blonde queens with model Siri Tollerod being the perfect example of how this look can rock. Make a statement like Siri and pull the look off with deep coloured lipstick.
