Haircare Australia's education portfolio is a carefully curated collection of some of the best and brightest creatives in the industry, hand-picked to deliver some of the most inspiring and dynamic Education.

Here we share a look at the creatives that make up our Evo Education crew. Get to know more about this collective of impressive individuals:


Josh Congreve

Josh is the head colourist and training co-ordinator at Togninis based in Queensland. He has experience working in hair teams with Evo Ambassadors Jules Tognini and Grant Norton at industry events such as Salon International in London and Hair Expo. He is an experienced session stylist having worked in hair teams at industry fashion events such as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Sydney for Hayley Elsaesser and Carla Spectic as well as Myer special Event fashion shows.

Chelsea DeMain

Chelsea is a mover and shaker in the hairdressing industry. She’s the pioneer and founder of Eye Am Hair, a pop up hair salon that runs from a copper clad retrofitted caravan.  With 15 years in the industry, Chelsea has held the prestigious title of Head Stylist at both London and Melbourne Fashion Week, Educator at BIBA Academy, Senior Stylist at esteemed salons, in both London and Melbourne and most recently Founder of Eye Am Hair.

Stevie Hay

Throughout his 16 years experience within the industry, Stevie has worked globally: in salons, educating in academies and behind the scenes on major theatrical productions and fashion events. Starting his career with the internationally acclaimed TONI&GUY team, Stevie was trained by some of the best industry leaders and soon found that he shared the same passion for quality education and professionalism.

Nicole Kae

A Sydney based hairstylist with 16 years of industry experience, Nicole can be found plying her trade at District salon in Surry Hills. With unparalleled experience in session styling, Nicole has been involved in numerous editorial shoots, fashion shows and short films leading to her appointment in the Australian F.A.M.E team.

Ryan King

What you can expect from this geeza? Well Ryan’s strong points are the fundamentals of cutting, working with short hair and rocking the sh*t out of men’s hair. Ryan has teamed up with Lil’ Off The Top to express his beliefs and share how he thinks the craft should be taught – with structure, great technical ability, big fun and a good laugh. Now Ryan brings both his charm and his super skills to educate for Evo Hair.

Kylie T

English born Kylie T has been in the industry for a mere 23 years, never letting education leave her side, Kylie T had a fun 8 years back in the UK working within the team at Toni & Guy just out of Manchester, her home town, working as both a Head stylist and Head Colour Technician. Kylie T loves to educate and share her and knowledge within the industry.

Nicole Thomas

Born and raised in country New Zealand; Nicole Thomas began her passion and big dreams for hairdressing. Twelve years on Nicole Jumped “The Ditch"  and moved to the sunny Queensland Coast to work for some of Australia's leading hair salons, mastering her skill set she has carved out a niche for her innovative style.

Liam Thompson

Entering the industry full-throttle in 2010, Liam has worked countless editorial and runway shows since and hasn’t looked back. Determined only to be the best, he has built on his knowledge and experience over nearly 10 years to become a well-rounded stylist dedicated to the craft.

Tom White

Tom is part of the new breed of educators, teaching the WHY as well as the HOW. Over the last few years Tom has been making a name for himself educating Australia wide. With his role at Lil Off The Top, under the leadership of Jules Tognini, Tom has really excelled and is fast becoming a force within the educating world. With an open approach designed for people to get the most out of his seminars, Tom is truly an educator that with get every mind ticking from Apprentices to Directors.
